Kate Higley has spent a lifetime as a visual artist. As a printmaker and painter, her art reflects imagined environments both seen and unseen beneath surfaces. Kate’s concerns about waste, the environment, and the tangle that we are creating in our world, both literally and figuratively are reflected through her work. All have distant or close referents in the landscape.
Since 2006 her prints been accepted to twelve national print exhibitions. She is an adjunct faculty at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth, NH and a member of the Boston Printmakers, North of Boston Print Collaborative, a board member of the Monotype Guild of New England and past president of the Women’s Caucus for Art, NH Chapter.
