Gail Cunningham has a BA in Fine Art and later studied at the School of the MFA, Boston. She is a printmaker working with the processes of etching on photopolymer plates and monoprint. The origin of her work is connected to nature: a landscape, a texture, and from there the work seeks its own path. The finished piece can be unrecognizable from its origin, but hopefully, the work distills down and unveils its essence.
