Jack works in acrylics and mixed media—abstract expressionism, impressionism, and geometrics.
He was a writer for his big boy job but always wanted to paint. The writing studio in the woods behind his house—which he sat in for 20+ years, banging out magazine articles, newspaper columns, blog posts, and books—was originally designed as a painter’s studio, with two big south-facing windows. He took it as a sign.
Now he paints. He doesn’t search for words anymore. He has his own language.
Jack was educated at St. Anselm College and Johns Hopkins University.
